Meet the team – Mahesh Patel

Mahesh joined 8Hundred in July 2022. 8Hundred is made up of highly experienced specialists which makes the value add to corporates and individuals so attractive. Mahesh is really excited to be part of such a pivotal team with a vital offering to the market. Apart from being very passionate about being involved in the fund raising process and being able to unlock potential through capital, Mahesh is excited about bringing sustainability and finance closer together in a practical manner that can become industry norm in the future. Conscious capital will drive the value in future and corporates need to be prepared to make that transition.

Mahesh has previously worked at:

1. EY: Mahesh was a Senior Manager in the Turnaround Restructuring Strategy Division where Mahesh was pivotal to the Ster Kinekor Business Rescue and multiple other assignments where we unlocked value in distressed assets (2020 – June 22)
2. EOH: Mahesh was a special projects manager working within the Treasury Department where we were responsible for the managing of liquidity across the group which consisted of 200+ entities and managed lenders with significant exposures into the group. (2019 – Dec 2020)
3. PwC: Mahesh was a manager in the Business Restructuring Services division where we helped multiple listed corporates manage distressed assets and lenders. PwC also aided lenders in getting closer to the business to help aid the turnaround journey. (2018 – 2019)
