Tamsin has extensive experience working on the African continent and has a passion for developing African capital markets through training and strategic advisory. With over 20yrs of experience working with the JSE, CoSSE, ASEA, and executing various leading roles at the JSE, Nedbank and Allen & Overy LLP , she has grown a global network that includes Governments, Regulators, DFIs, Exchanges, Corporate players & Advisors. Her track record consists of training on capital markets and their development, analysis of the financial market infrastructure in Africa and other regions, and engagement with regulatory authorities across the continent. She serves as a Vice President and board member of the South Africa-Nigeria Business Chamber and is on the investment committee of a Guernsey domiciled Africa-focused private equity firm and acts as an advisor to UK registered Greyhorse Clearinghouse Ltd, a cross-border multi-currency blockchain based decentralised clearinghouse providing non-custodial settlement services.

Tamsin presented strategies to build a credible market at the launch of the Zambian Capital Markets Master Plan earlier in the year and is currently collaborating with 8Hundred, an independent strategic advisory firm in Johannesburg, South Africa, specialised in assisting African companies secure debt and equity through the capital markets. 8Hundred provides expertise in funding, liquidity management, investor relations and ESG matters. The collaboration provides clients with the capital markets training that Tamsin expertly delivers, with the addition of content from 8Hundred on the importance of investor relations and capital structure for companies.
